The university

During the first weeks of the Teacher Education program, an introduction period called Nolle-P is organized. It usually lasts two weeks, during which you’ll get to know other students and find your way into student life. During your first semester, you’ll also meet with a study mentor, in sessions arranged by the student advisors. The mentors will help you settle into your studies. More information will be provided after your admission, so keep an eye out!

In addition to the introduction period, your study time will be filled with social events where you are guaranteed to make new friends! Since the Teacher Section at Linköping University is one of the larger programs, it’s hard to miss a friendly teacher student on campus, especially when they’re wearing the iconic red overall!

If you feel like getting even more involved during your time as a student, you can apply to join one of the committees that are responsible for different areas within the section. There’s something for everyone, whether you want to help organize parties, work with photography, take responsibility for international students, or be part of one of the many social activities. A committee is not something you manage on your own, but a group you join for one academic year. Each committee has its own recruitment period, and everyone has a chance to join!
